Adam Arkin

Adam Arkin was born on August 19, 1957 in New
York City, Brooklyn, New York, US to Alan Arkin and Jeremy Yaffe. Arkin has
three brothers, Matthew (lawyer, actor), Jake Wakefield (lawyer) and Anthony
Arkin (director, actor).
Arkin always knew that acting was going to be a
part of his life, not surprising given his parentage. His first introduction to
real acting came when he was 10, 1967, when he was enrolled at Herbert Berghof
Studio for acting. Four years later he had his first big screen role, Made For
Each Other.
He has been married twice, first to Linda (a
yoga instructor), then to Phyllis Lyons~1999 - present). Phyllis and Arkin have
one daughter, Molly (b 1987).
