Grave Secrets~2003 - (Kathy Reichs) [1] One police officer is wearing very dark sunglasses in pilot style.  it's described as a "Darth Vader look" [2] And as the forensic examiner is checking to see what kind of hair was found on the bodies' clothes, his fellow officer says, "It's Wookiee, right?" Guerrilla Learning: How to Give Your Kids a Real Education With or Without School~ - (Grace Llewellen) [1] an example of a learning situation at the dinner table about Star Wars which centered around the subjects question of "Who is the most powerful Jedi in all the Star Wars movies?"  One said that Darth Vader became more powerful than the Emperor because he loved his son and love allowed the Force to work through him more fully.  Another felt that Yoda was the most powerful because , even though we never see him fight or control others, because he wisely guides others in developing and using their power.  Another child, (6 years old) said that it was his theory that Darth Vader was the most powerful because he killed the Emperor, who had been the most powerful up until that point.  The author also says that many people criticized the films because they were "violent" and commercialized...she goes on to say that those people didn't see beyond the surface stuff, that they really should have noticed the mythic resonance flowing throughout.  "Parents... need to drop their critical distance and put themselves in their kids' world"  ( nice ) [2] "... on the back of each letter, they pasted a picture of a Star Wars character whose name began with that letter (Anakin, Boba Fett, C3PO, Droid ... ), thus leveraging not only his learning style but also his interests."

If You Want to Walk On Water, You Have to Get Out of the Boat~2001 - (John Ortberg)  "A Single step"  At the climax of the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana has to pass three supreme tests to reach the Holy Grail and save his father who is dying.  The first test is "The Breath of God" As he walks down a corridor, Indiana must bow down at precisely the right moment to keep from having his head cut off by large revolving metal blades.  The second test is "The World of God" Jones must walk on just the right stones - the ones that spell God's name in Latin - to keep from falling through the floor to his death.  But the third test "The Path of God" is the most difficult.  Indiana comes to the edge of a large chasm - about one hundred feet across and a thousand feet down.  On the other side of the chasm is the door to the Holy Grail.
