Glenn Quinn

Glenn Quinn (born Glenn Martin Christopher Francis Quinn) was born on May 28, 1970 in Dublin, Ireland to Murty (a musician) and Bernadette Quinn.  Quinn was raised in Cabinteely, Dublin, Ireland.

Quinn attended Clonkeen College, a Roman Catholic Christian Brothers school, in Blackrock, near Dublin, Ireland and played the drums or guitar in several bands before moving to Long Beach, California (close to other family members) to have a better life with his mother and his two sisters, Sonya and Lousia, in 1988.

It was that same year that Quinn started acting classes in Studio City and by 1990 Quinn started acting professionally.  Before he was 'discovered' he held several jobs including: construction, house painter, working at a power plant and being a waiter.  With no vocal training he found the transition to acting quite easy adopting an American accent quite easily...about why the relative ease he said, 'I've been mimicking people all my life.'

Quinn passed away on December 3, 2002 in North Hollywood, CA of an accidental drug overdose.
