Jake Lloyd

Jake Lloyd (born Jacob Christopher) was born on March 5, 1989 to Bill and Lisa Lloyd in Fort Collins, Co, US.  At two years Lloyd is fascinated by movies and in particular Arnold Schwarzenegger, when he and his parents went to see T2 at the drive-in little Lloyd kept yelling 'Schwarzenegger, Schwarzenegger!' Lloyd kept asking his parents about acting and wanting to act but the answer was always no.  Little Lloyd did not back down, he insisted, begged, pleaded with his parents for a long time... his parents finally did agree.

Lloyd's first acting experiences were in commercials, which he started at age 6.   He then made the jump to film.  Including Unhook the Stars, Jingle All the Way and Apollo 11.  Along the way he also managed to fit in some appearances on ER and The Pretender (young Angelo).  Now, Lloyd had his first audition for Episode II when he was six but he was too young for the part, but two years later Robin Gurland called him again and asked him to do another audition up at Skywalker Ranch.  Not too much longer after that he was asked if he would like to go to England for 3 months.  The rest is....history. 

Lloyd continues to work on TV and in film including the title role in Ender's Game (from the Orson Scott Card novel), Crown of Blood, Die with Me, Madison (with his sister Madison) and Race to Space.
