Joel Edgerton

Joel Edgerton was born on June 23, 1974 in Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia.  Joel and his brother Nash grew up in Dural, Australia and attended Hills Grammar School.  After graduating from Hills he attended high school, graduated, and moved on to the University of Western Sydney's Theatre Nepean Drama School (Kingswood Campus) where he studied Drama it was around this time that he worked as a porter (a doorman).  He graduated from Nepean in 1994.  

Since then Joel has teamed up with his brother Nash on more than a few occasions to make films for their Blue Tongue Films production company, formed in 1996, based out of Darlinghurst, New South Wales, Australia.
