Keira Knightley  was born on March 26, 1985 to actor Will Knightley and actress/playwright Sharman McDonald  in Teddington, London, England, UK, and she has an older brother Caleb.

Keira was trained in dance and theatre and thought sure she'd follow in the footsteps of her parents but her film career got in the way!

She currently lives in Mayfair, London, UK.
