THEME PARKS

Disneyland/DisneyWorld (US Anaheim/Orlando) - Star Tours [1] While you're waiting an announcement says (something like) "Will the owner of a landrover with vehicle number THX 1138 please move your vehicle? You're parked in a non-hovering zone." [2] You can also hear the announcer paging Egroeg Sacul (George Lucas spelled backwards). [3] A hazardous waste truck (in the film part of the ride) has the plate THX 1138 [4] Indiana Jones Adventure We see the huge round boulder with "Indy" hanging on to a rope suspended from the temple's ceiling, "Indy" says, "I got a baaad feeling abou this"

EuroDisney (FR Paris) - CineMagique In this attraction movie and reality are combined when they start a movie where a man is sucked into a movie. He tries to get out, but instead only falls into a different scene and gives us the audience a trip trough famous movies. One of the last scenes is aboard the Death Star where he finds his girlfriend again wearing a Stormtrooper costume. Also when you enter and leave this attraction you can hear some SW-music in the background. (Thanks to Sander for this info!)

Universal Studios (US Florida) - 2004 Bill & Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure - Darth Vader was featured in the stage show.

Universal Studios (US Hollywood, CA) - Shrek 4-D[1] While waiting in line for the ride there is a head in a magic mirror which says, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..."  Just as he finishes his head does the "crawl" [2] once you're in and enjoying the ride, Shrek and Donkey ride Dragon through the attraction to get Princess Fiona.  Low and behold they find themselves at the Death Star "trench", as they fly in Donkey says, "This is Red Dragon.  I'm going in!"  And while flying through, "Stay on target!".  Instead of firing "torpedoes" Dragon uses her natural fire power to hit the target and they all lift out of the trench.

Wet 'n' Wild (US Orlando)  - Black Hole You can hear the Imperial March with a collection of other tunes from sci-fi films while rounding the spiraling staircase on the way up. (thanks to JarJar for this life reference!)

 

 

Other PLACES

Imperial Sand Dunes - (listing of places to visit by the Bureau Of Land Management, 1661 S. Fourth St., El Centro 92243, (619) 352-5842) A drift of dunes area running South East from Glamis, CA. to the Mexican border, used by off-road vehicles. Desert scenes from Star Wars, Beau Geste and other films were shot here. Open year round.

National Cathedral in Washington DC, The - See reference HERE !

Rangra Theatre, The - Alpine, Texas.  Mural (by Doug Myerscough) features Darth Vader (bottom right corner (barely visible) and Indiana Jones (under the "A" in RANGRA, on the ground floor).
