Mike Quinn was born 1964 in England. He has been a
puppeteer since he was very young and his first major job was when he was 17
with Jim Henson's The Great Muppet Caper. He is one of a very few
left-handed puppeteers and also does voice work and animation.
Mike is married to a fellow puppeteer Karen Prell
(American) together they worked at Pixar for a couple of years animating and he
worked on A Bug's Life and animated several of the marionette shots on Woody's
Roundup in Toy Story 2. After a year Mike worked at Industrial Light and
Magic where he worked on Jurassic Park 3 and Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the
Clones. He returned to puppeteering shortly after and is active on the
convention circuit.
