Philip Proctor

Philip Proctor was born on July
28, 1940 in Goshen, Indiana, but was raised in Manhattan, New York
City.
Proctor attended Allen Stevenson School in New
York city in the 1950's. Attended Yale, started as a Russian major but
changed that to Drama, graduated in 1962 with an BA in Theatre.
From his earliest memories he had a flair for mimicry and what Edie
McClurg calls an Audiographic memory, the ability to hear and repeat. This
talent lead him to pursue more linguistic studies, he has learned to speak
fluently in seven languages and is well on his way to learning more (Russian,
Norwegian, German, French to name several.) and has helped him land an
incredible variety of roles in film, radio, theatre, and TV.
Proctor lives with his wife,
actress Melinda Peterson and their two cats, Chester and Wilma, in Los Angeles,
CA.
