- Williams is a Certified Flight Instructor, rated in
single and multi-engine airplanes and helicopters and in 2003 he completed
two weeks of training to qualify him for flying jet engine planes.
2004 - attended the Reno National Championship Air Race (Sept)...first attending
the Pylon Racing Seminar (summer). He was a professional pilot in
the 1980's for one year.
In the film Hair, second to last scene, there is a
transport plane that takes his character off to Vietnam. It was
Williams who piloted the plane because they had no pilot for filming that
day.
Williams is left-handed.
His character in Everwood was ranked #43 in 50 Greatest TV
