Wally Wingert

Wally Wingert was born on May 6, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Performing came easily to Wingert and at an early age.  By the time he was sixteen he was doing local radio, D.J. at KELO Radio in Sioux Falls, South Dakota,  and later submitting songs he'd written and performed to the Dr. Demento radio show.

In 1987 Wingert moved to Los Angeles to continue to pursue acting on a much larger scale that he'd experienced in the Mid-West.  The songs he'd sent in to Dr. Demento made an impact and the Dr. hired Wingert at Westwood One Radio Network and on weekends he worked as on-air talent for The Wave (jazz). By 1989 he left WORN and went to full-time DJ at The Wave.

Since then he's been a top performer in the realm of voice work.
